Experience the ultimate family weekend in Norway. Stay in a "glamping tent" one night, where the whole family camps in a large tent with real beds. Spend one day in one of Scandinavia's largest zipline parks with activities for everyone from the age of 3 to 103. In the region of Haugaland, Norway shows its most beautiful features. For example, an amazing archipelago on the beautiful island of Utsira. The ferry location to reach Utsira is within walking distance of your hotel. The powerful Åkrafjord's magnificent landscape is crowned by the Langfoss waterfall designated by CNN as one of the most beautiful in the world.
It is also possible to enjoy the white sandy beaches of Karmøy Island on a beautiful summer's day and the picturesque village of Skudeneshavn is a must see. In the mountain landscapes of Etne and Vindafjord there is an extensive network of hiking trails with wonderful views. Or why not visit the Viking Village, an exhibition of traditional Viking housing and lifestyle, just a short drive from Haugesund. The beautiful and world famous Preikestolen can be reached by car as can the Trolltunga at Hardangervidda.
The accommodation during the first two nights will be at the hotel Scandic Maritim ****, which is centrally located in Haugesund and right by the beautiful boardwalk. The rooms are modern and comfortable and there are several good restaurants and bars in and nearby the hotel. For example, try a fish dish in Restaurang Naustet (The Nest) and enjoy the traditional old-style feel. A delicious breakfast buffet is included. The third night is spent in the "Glamping tent" adjacent to the Höyt & Lavt adventure park at the beautiful Boknafjord. The car journey takes less than an hour and you drive through a beautiful landscape offering wonderful views, exciting landscapes, churches and waterways.

Description Höyt & Lav adventure park
The park has five options with a total of 78 components and it has Norway's only zip line of 304 meters high, with a fjord view. In this beautiful area there are also nice barbecue and picnic areas. The cozy kiosk / café area offers local food and drinks. The park is designed to be completely environmentally friendly and is integrated within the natural terrain. The trees used for the activities are carefully selected and monitored each year. The trees are not usually damaged by the components and can be easily removed without damage to the trees, if necessary.
Security in focus
Guest security will always come first. The park has a system for monitoring all of the installations and safety equipment - inspections are carried out on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. All guests must undergo security courses and show that they have the required undersanding to carry out the activities. There are always instructors in the park who supervise and provide assistance when needed.
